Responsible for general shop clean-up/housekeeping, and maintenance
Assist with prep work such as:
Pre-Treatment of metal
Grinding
Running drill press
Metal cutting using a band saw
Assist with assembly, banding, strapping, loading, unloading, sorting, and storing of material (finished and unfinished products/materials)
Assist with inventory and organizing stock items
Assist with pre-inspections of equipment, machines, tools, work areas
Ensure safety of self and others
Full-Time – 40 hours week
6:00 am – 4:30 pm (Monday – Friday)
Saturdays – as required
The General Shop Laborer will perform various assigned job duties to assist and support the overall production and manufacturing processes.
