TMD is looking for a few individuals to join our team in our High Voltage Production Lab and also in our Meter Lab. The ideal candidate will have previous manufacturing/production experience, a great work ethic and be a person of great integrity.

Under the general direction of the High Voltage Lab Supervisor or Manager, the HV Lab Technician (Production/Warehouse Associate) will perform production labor work in a high voltage testing lab.

Under the general direction of the Meter Lab Supervisor or Manager, the Meter Lab Tech will perform production labor work in an electric meter lab to include assembly and disassembly of electronic boards for electric meters and testing of electric meter functions. May also assist with packing/shipping of meters and meter related products.

Duties for both positions will include cleaning, visually inspecting, and operating testing equipment/machines to test a variety of products such as meters and protective equipment used in the electric utility and commercial electric industries, along with packing the products to prepare for shipment.

Job duties may also include receiving and washing/cleaning of products to be tested. Entry level position and pay. Will train. Work hours are generally M-F, 8 am - 4:30pm, INCLUDES TWO 15 MIN PAID BREAKS AND 30 MIN UNPAID LUNCH BREAK. Overtime may be available/required during peak business times.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

· Cleaning protective equipment - receiving and manually washing/cleaning of products to be tested or operating industrial machinery to wash/dry products.

· Visual inspection of protective equipment.

· Operating machines to test a variety of protective equipment used in the electric utility and commercial electric industries

· Packing of protective equipment products for shipping.

· Detailed record keeping.

· Warehouse duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping orders

· Assembly/disassembly electronic boards for electric meters

· Testing of electric meter functions

· Packing of meters and other products for shipment

· Wrapping and banding of pallets and using a bar code scanner and other packing machinery

· Will record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records

· Detailed record keeping.

· Other duties and responsibilities as assigned or as may be required.

Requirements:

· HS Diploma/GED

· Stable Multi-year Work History

· Ability to lift 50 lbs

· Prefer previous production/assembly experience in a manufacturing environment

· Attention to Detail

· Accurate record keeping and documentation skills

· Acceptable near vision (with or without correction) to be able to read small numbers on products and to be able to identify defects in products

· Dependability

· Good Communication Skills (speaking, reading and writing)

· Ability to stand on feet, bend or stoop for a prolonged period of time

· Ability to carry out duties in a safe and efficient manner

· Additional Requirements: Background check clearance including drug screening and I-9 documentation as required by law
