International Paper, the nations premier producer of corrugated containers, is currently accepting applications for hourly production positions at its Putnam, CT plant located at 175 Park Road in Putnam, CT. We are currently seeking skilled machine operators with industrial manufacturing experience.
New hires will start at $18.03 during the probationary period (90 days) then increase based on the position assigned ranging from $19.61 - $23.45 an hour. Successful operators compensation will increase with our top machine operators earning $25.26. Your compensation also includes generous benefits packages including company-subsidized healthcare for you and your family, paid vacation, 401(k) and retirement plans. We are a fast paced, industrial environment, but if you are an experienced manufacturing machine operator, you will enjoy working in our environment. Position requirements include:

• High school diploma or state registered GED preferred
• Ability to communicate and work well with others
• Manufacturing experience preferred
• Stable work history
• Ability to work overtime/weekends
• Fundamental computer skills
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift.
