The Position - In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple locations within the greater Denver area, based out of our plant located in downtown Denver, CO. The General Manager will manage the day-to-day operations, personnel, plant, and equipment to ensure services are delivered in a timely, safe, and compliant manner. The General Manager maintains important stakeholder relationships including state & local regulators and key customers.

Responsibilities:

· Direct and coordinate promotion of services performed to develop new markets, increase share of market, and obtain competitive position in the industry.

· Coordinate activities of divisions or departments such as operating, planning, sales, maintenance to effect operational efficiency and economy.

· Engage employees by training, coaching, directing work, planning, counseling, and conducting evaluations.

· Ensure facility is compliant with all state and federal regulations.

· Monthly review of P&L statement with VP Operations and CFO.

· Recruit, interview, and select employees to fill vacant positions.

· Execute precautions to ensure safety and compliance with company and OSHA to reduce accidents and workplace injuries.

· Inspect trucks to ensure compliance with established Department of Transportation regulations.

· Maximize profit and grow revenue.

· Control and reduce operation costs.

· Special projects and other duties as assigned.

Educational Background & Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree – preferred in plant operations management is preferred.

· 10+ years of experience as a general manager in transportation, plant management.

· Waste industry experience would be a plus (liquid or Solid).

· Strong Colorado business suite’s location experience.

• P&L responsibility experience is required.
• Extensive knowledge in DOT and fleet management required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $140,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
