Express Employment of Downey is currently seeking GENERAL LABOR/WAREHOUSE SUPPORT for various companies in the cities of Vernon, Compton, and Huntington Park.
Schedule: will be discussed during interview
Pay: $16.50 to $18.25 an hour (depending on experience and shift
Job Responsibilities:
- Receive and empty containers by unloading boxes
- Palletize boxes - strap, wrap
- Label boxes
- Ship boxes
- Organize material within warehouse
- Warehouse/general duties as needed - MUST BE ADAPTABLE TO THE NEEDS OF THE JOB
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year warehouse experience
- Forklift experience is a PLUS (certification required)
- MUST be able to operate an electric pallet jack
- MUST be able to consistently lift up to 50 pounds
- Must know how to follow instructions
- Ability to stand, bend, stretch, and sit for long periods of time
