Licensed since 2017, Ely Construction LLC is a locally owned and operated construction company serving the Northwestern Ohio area. We are a full-service operation specializing in residential and agricultural construction and remodeling projects. Our mission is to complete projects on time, with the highest level of quality and at a fair price.
Ely Construction LLC has grown substantially in the last few years and we are looking to continue that growth for years to come. To achieve that goal, we are looking for 2-3 motivated individuals to join our team as general laborers. With dedication and enthusiasm, the opportunities for growth are endless!
Description of Work
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools, including drills, forklifts, skid loaders and other tools as directed by management.
- Clean and prepare construction sites as needed, including erecting scaffolding, removing and properly disposing of debris and waste materials.
- Participate in installation and completion of numerous types of jobs including, but no limited to - window and door installation, siding, flooring, framing, drywall, and more.
- Follow all safety procedures on the job site and report violations immediately to management.
- Maintain a safe and clean job site by handling materials and storing them properly, picking up and removing all tools and equipment when not in use, and securing the job site on a daily basis.
- Load and unload construction supplies from trucks both manually and with the use of equipment.
- Travel within 1 hour of Edon, OH to job site, if required
Job Skills & Qualifications
- Two or more years experience in a construction trade, preferred, but willing to train enthusiastic, motivated individuals wanting to learn the construction industry
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation around the tri-state area (MI, OH, IN)
- Ability to physically carry 50-80lbs
- Ability to follow and take direction
- Flexible, as job sites can quickly change schedules
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
About
Job Type: Full-Time, some overtime required
Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour, dependent on experience
Benefits: Vacation after 1 year, 7 paid holidays
Schedule: M-F 730a-4p, weekend work occasionally available
