The Funding Manager is a critical role responsible for closing deals with small business owners who have raised their hands as being interested in a business loan to grow their business. A successful Funding Manager is effective in conducting business over the phone, understanding the needs of small businesses, and is a self-starter who is capable of managing your own sales funnel. Responsibilities Include:
-‐ Establish relationships with small business owners to understand capital loan
requirements, business plans, and concerns
-‐ Place 150-200 outbound dials daily to small business owners
-‐ Determine borrower financing objectives and goals
-‐ Create ROI and needs-‐analysis for customers of various capital options
-‐ Suggest and negotiate terms of funding deals
-‐ Secure funding for small business owners through Lendio’s best practices to ensure world-class customer service
-‐ Own and manage your sales funnel through our proprietary CRM
-‐ Oversee the entire loan process from initial customer contact to closing of the loan
-‐ Become knowledgeable in the various loan products available through Lendio’s
network of lenders
Qualifications:
-‐ 4-year degree is preferred but not required
-‐ Previous B2B sales, Banking, Lending, or Financial background and experience
greatly desired
-‐ Proven ability to learn quickly, be coachable, and close deals
-‐ Work as part of a team to share best practices and help the company achieve its
goals
-‐ Self-‐motivated and highly organized
-‐ Solid time management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks
-‐ Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, across
a variety of audiences
-‐ Ability to analyze and comprehend complex financial data and provide financial
alternatives
