Full-time Nanny required for an UES family with 3 children (twins, age 6 and a daughter, age 8). Specific duties to be negotiated with the family, but in general, you will be responsible for providing nurturing care, interacting with the children in an attentive, kind and age-appropriate way, after school pick ups and overseeing afternoon schedules and activities and light child related housekeeping. The ideal candidate is someone who has experience looking after multiple children, is confident, enthusiastic, ready to lead by example, flexible, calm, and comfortable managing multiple schedules and a busy household! Summers in Greenport, LI are expected and a driver's license is required (no city driving)

Location: UES, NYC and Greenport, LI (summer)

Start date: Flexible

Days/times: Monday to Friday: 40 hrs guaranteed. Family has flexibility for the right candidate - ideal hours are noon - 7/8pm.

Children: Three children - twins (age 6) and daughter (age 8)

Conditions: $25 - $35 per hour* plus unlimited monthly Metrocard, health care stipend and two weeks paid leave per year

• A minimum of 3 years experience with this age group, 3-5 years preferred in NYC
• Drivers License with clean driving record (no city driving expected)
• A well-suited demeanor for working with multiple children
• Exceptional childcare references that attest to strong communication skills, reliability, punctuality, maturity and high emotional intelligence
• Education or equivalent knowledge of ages and stages of
  child growth and development
• Ability to commit for a minimum of 1 year for all permanent positions
• Readiness to help with light housekeeping and all tasks related to childcare (meal prep, organizing, laundry, etc.)
• A clean background to pass our comprehensive background check and social media checks
• Flexibility for domestic travel and summers in Greenport, LI
• Confident around water / ability to watch multiple children while swimming
• A professional appearance

Additional qualifications we look for:

• A four-year college degree from an accredited university
• A current passport
• Training and certifications such as First Aid, CPR & AED, early childhood education, defensive driving, water safety certification, NCS, special needs, etc.
