An established critical access hospital located in the northern Maine region is currently searching for an experienced Full-Time CRNA Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join their award-winning healthcare organization.
This 25-bed full-service critical access hospital provides a wide variety of acute care services to the surrounding communities. This system provides world-class inpatient and outpatient medical, surgical, and emergency services. This organization is built on quality and strives to provide a safe environment that is conducive to patient healing and overall customer satisfaction.
Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer and Chief of Surgery, the Full-Time CRNA will provide a full range of anesthesia care to patients with guidance from experienced Surgeons. The CRNA will consult with patients and operative Surgeons prior to, during, and after anesthetic to ensure patient safety and satisfaction. The CRNA will act as the patient advocate and remains responsible for the patient during the entire operative procedure. This is a full-time, Monday-Friday, opportunity covering multiple critical access sites. There is a call requirement.
Requirements Include:
- Master’s degree in Nursing Anesthesia
- Active unrestricted license to practice as a CRNA Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist in the state of Maine
- Current verification in BCLS, ACLS, and PALS
