Full-time Intake Specialist- 2nd Shift 3p-11:30p and EOW
Haven Behavioral Hospital of Eastern PA is an 86 bed acute-care Joint Commission Accredited psychiatric hospital that offers care for adults dealing with mental health conditions and co-occurring disorders. Position Summary
Receives and responds to call inquiries for potential admissions and generalized questions.
Obtains the required information to facilitate admissions.
Makes referrals for persons who are not appropriate for admission.
Completes pre-authorization of services
Welcomes patient and completes paperwork upon arrival to facility
Education: Bachelor's Degree required.
Certifications/Licenses: CPI/CPR per policy. Current licensure or certification, preferred, by discipline.
Experience: Experience with crisis management or intake preferred.
As mandated by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) all employees and regular contractors of Haven Behavioral Hospital of Eastern Pennsylvania are required to obtain the COVID-19 Vaccine or receive approval for an exception prior to date of hire.
