We are looking for a motivated individual to provide a nurturing and safe environment for infants to develop and reach age appropriate milestones. An infant teacher will display a gentle and nurturing personality and demonstrate good judgement in the care and play of each infant assigned to them.

What you will do:

• Provide a safe and loving environment for the infants in his/her care
• Give bottles to infants as provided by parents & Change diapers as needed
• Ensure play, sleep and changing areas are kept clean
• Guide babies and toddlers through education/development programs
• Develop schedules and routines ensuring physical activity, rest, and playtime
• Observe, assess and documenting each assigned infant’s health, skills, behavior, growth, and development
• Report accidents, illnesses, and unusual behavior of infants to the Director and parents

Be willing to assist in other locations & assist with all age groups if needed

What you will bring to the table:

• High School Diploma or Associates Degree
• Completion of DCF 45 Hour Coursework as well as other DCF required trainings (preferred)
• Completion of DCF 20 Hours of In-Service Training /year. (preferred)
• CPR/First Aid/AED Certified (preferred)
• Previous experience working with infants preferred
