Job description
Perform the following cooking procedures: sauté, grill, fry, bake and roast
Performs basic to more advanced knife skills (i.e. slice, chop, mince, julienne, dice) in the preparation and production of food items
Clean and organize walk-in coolers, food production areas, equipment, general kitchen areas and maintain sanitation levels at all times
Produce and maintain all company-set food standards
Execute and adhere to all direction provided by Sous Chef,
Executive Sous and Executive Chef Read tickets from the printer and/or KDS and produce product as described
Properly store food and chemicals including proper labeling and dating and maintain appropriate temperature
Perform dish washing procedures according to proper sanitation standards
Perform other duties as assigned

Education
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience
Minimum one year of culinary experience preferred
Minimum of six months line cook experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Must have the ability to read
Ability to properly set a station
Mise en place (set in place, having all your ingredients prepped and ready to go before you start cooking)
