CERTIFIED WELD INSPECTOR / NONDESTRUCTIVE TESTING (NDT) TECHNICIAN
GeoTek Engineering & Testing Services, Inc. is seeking to add a full-time Nondestructive Testing
Technician. We have been in business for over 30 years and specialize in Geotechnical Engineering,
Construction Materials Testing, and Environmental/Industrial Hygiene Consulting. For more

Serious inquiry from applicants with a CWI, NDT Level II, Associates Degree and/or 2-3 years of
experience in nondestructive testing.
Responsibilities
- Nondestructive testing of welds utilizing Visual (VT), Ultrasonic (UT), Magnetic Particle
- Performing quality control testing during construction of buildings and other structures in
- May include sampling and testing of soils, aggregate, concrete, asphalt, masonry and steel
- Reading and reviewing construction documents (plans & specifications).
- Communicating with clients and contractors on job sites.
• AWS Certified Weld Inspector (CWI) and/or Level I/II NDT (PT/MT/UT) Certification
- Ability to work at elevated heights, regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and
- Ability to perform duties in outside weather conditions including extreme cold and
- Strong math, verbal and writing skills.
- Current valid driver’s license.
- Overnight travel may be required with position.
- Motivated and willing to learn and be challenged.
