What you’ll do
- Drive plant OTD (On time delivery) goals through improving process and defects in material availability, schedule attainment and mfg. planning execution within different value streams. Use DBS (Danaher Business System) such as Visual Management, Standard work, Dynamic KANBAN, Heijunka Scheduling, etc, driving processes improvement in customer fulfilment with sustainable results.
- Drive improved FG inventory turns thru the application of Danaher Materials System tools, including dynamic KANBAN and post-factory inventory management, Tactical Materials (Cycle counting, BOM accuracy, etc.), and PSI
- Drive supply review process, including liquidation, inventory estimates and lines utilization across the value streams.
- Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs (Inventory level, backlog, priority orders)
- Identify and lead projects related to inventory management (MFG and DIST) and implement process improvements, using Lean and BI tools.
- Manage item distribution setups to provide visibility of short/long term backlog (dates management)
- Lead spare parts/ NPI planning initiatives
- Works together with business leadership on projects of critical importance.
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree or high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Planning, Fulfilment, Materials OR at least 2 years of Supply Chain Experience).
- APICS Certification preferred.
- Experience in Project Management.
- Strong MS Excel skills.
- Expertise in BI tools strongly preferred.
- Oracle knowledge and experience is desirable.
- Lean Manufacturing / DBS Experience preferred.
