The Front Desk Supervisor will lead, manage, and hold accountable Front Desk team across MPOWER locations as assigned and will ensure the highest quality of customer service and communication is maintained while meeting goals for collections and producing timely billing and productivity reporting. The Front Desk Supervisor is responsible for onboarding new front desk specialists and executing processes to improve performance and customer service for the team through auditing, evaluation and progressive development and training.

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Assist with the recruitment, onboarding, and development of a team of front desk specialists a who believe in our mission
  • Conduct timely 90-day, quarterly conversations and annual reviews and compensation reviews for team
  • Meet or Exceed Weekly/Quarterly Goals
  • Assist in the development and refinement of processes related to the onboarding and training of all Front Desk team members
  • Provide secondary coverage and assistance at all locations for Front Desk team members
  • Work with Customer Service Manager to maintain appropriate levels of staffing to meet the scheduling needs of the company and each facility
  • Provide coaching to Front Desk team members together with Customer Service Manager to meet team-based and individual goals

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

  • High School diploma is required; additional relevant educational experience is preferred but not required
  • Two or more years of management or supervisory experience in healthcare setting
  • Experience in front desk or scheduling preferred
  • Work experience in a facility with licensed medical professionals preferred
  • Experience in training, development or mentorship preferred
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and communication (verbal and written) skills
  • Excellent follow up skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Command of MS Office Suite and other key applications
  • Ability to work proficiently with Practice Management software with sufficient training
  • Neat and professional appearance
  • Excellent ability to lead and participate in a professional and thoughtful manner in all meetings
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and compliance guidelines established by the practice

  • Monitor and audit daily clinic processes and data input by Front Desk team members
  • Monitor and audit processes to maintain proper documentation, authorization and communication related to physical therapy compliance
  • Participate and contribute to weekly meetings with manager and other front desk team members
  • Submit all related reporting and metrics to supervisor and other relevant internal stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Address patient complaints and customer service issues in an appropriate and professional manner
  • Perform all payroll functions in a timely and accurate manner
  • Coordinate with Business Office Manager to have all new hires complete OSHA and HIPAA training
  • Assist Customer Service Manager with projects as directed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
