Java Front End Job Description
Work in a team-based development environment building state-of-the-art web applications and will be involved in designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting those systems. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential along with a solid understanding of Object Orientated software development principles and techniques.
Technical Skills
- 5+ years of designing and developing code using object orientated principles and design standards.
- The Senior Frontend Developer must be highly proficient in CSS(3), HTML5,
- Must be greatly proficient in web technologies such as AngularJS, Bootstrap, RxJS, Vue, React.JS, Knockout, and Redux.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of CSS pre-processing platforms, inclusive of SASS.
- The Senior Frontend Developer will also have an excellent understanding of partial page updates, AJAX, and implementation with APIs.
- Hands on experience with object orientated software development and the overall development domain including: languages, frameworks, and design patterns.
- Experience with SQL and RDBMS systems
- Research and evaluate new and emerging technologies in order to provide recommendations for future technology strategies.
- Support production by leading efforts to troubleshoot production issues.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 Years’ Experience developing software with JavaScript frameworks
- Web services/Consuming API’s
- Web technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Preferred Qualifications/Skills
- Effective communication (oral and written) and organizational skills.
- Ability to independently handle and prioritize multiple projects.
- Ability to do time-estimations for tasks
- Strong deductive reasoning/troubleshooting skills
- History of handling assigned tasks through to completion
- Technical/process documentation skills
