pureIntegration, a technology consulting firm with 17+ years of experience servicing fortune 100 clients is seeking a Front-End Automation Engineer (JavaScript, Cypress, Cucumber) to join our growing team developing video platforms that handle billions of requests and millions of users. The team designs, develops, delivers innovative products and services that are essential to bringing Internet, TV and voice to more than 28 million residential and business customers.

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Responsibilities:

• Write automated tests (feature files) using Cucumber/Cypress automation tool.
• Perform code reviews of automation scripts.
• Automate and execute (in every release) scripts to measure reliability and resiliency of the application.
• Work with the development and product management teams to understand new requirements to fix regression/sanity tests and automate new features.
• Contribute to the development of automation test philosophies and methodologies.
• Architect creative solutions to complex automation problems and identifies viable test strategies to support testing product functionality.
• Contribute towards functional QA test cases as per release schedule.
• Familiarity with entire software development process, defect life cycle and test cycles (Unit, Regression, Functional, Sanity, Performance) is must.
• Drive Scrum meetings, backlog grooming, bug scrubs and Sprint planning
• Serve as a mentor for junior-level Software Development Engineers in Test and provide technical leadership and consultation.

Qualifications:

• 4 - 6 years of strong experience with developing different automation frameworks
• 2 years of experience working with Cucumber, Cypress automation framework
• Strong experience with JavaScript
• Strong experience with GIT – a Version Control System
• Experience working with CICD pipelines (Concourse is a plus)
• Experience working with ALM Octane is a plus
• Web test automation experience (Selenium) is a plus
• Solid verbal and written communication skills
• Strong debugging skills and attention to detail
• Ability to effectively collaborate with other software engineers within the team
• Application of critical thinking to help solve complex problems.
