Job Summary:
Our team is looking for a high energy Front Desk Receptionist to greet clients as they walk into the building. You will also be responsible for other administrative duties, such as answering phones and emails, filing, and scanning important documents, and scheduling and documenting calendar events for members of the office. Our ideal candidate has previous administrative experience, strong communication and customer service skills, and excellent organization. You also need to be proficient with the entire Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Excel.
Essential Functions:

- Greet visitors and walk-in customers, directing them to the appropriate staff member.
- Scan, organize, maintain, retrieve, update, verify, and purge information from manual and electronic files.
- Operates standard office equipment.
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports. Monitor, control, and disseminate reports from each department for daily, weekly, and monthly business status for management and ownership.
- Proof typed material for Administrative Support Services departmental staff members and others as requested.
- Interpret and apply instructions and guidelines to resolve work problems.
- Perform various departmental audits and perform error fixes or modifications as assigned.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, company events, and travel arrangements.
- Performs duties related to the regular handling of mail or packages by performing manual duties and operating mail-processing machines. Receives and sorts incoming and outgoing mail and packages according to postal regulations and unit requirements.
- Run company errands as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills:
- Must be comfortable in a rapidly changing environment and adapts easily to change
Education and Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role supporting managers and/or Office Manager experience.
- Model Nextlink’s company values, provide outstanding customer service, and work with team to exceed customer expectations.
- Communicate efficiently and professionally; verbally, and in writing.
- Must have basic computer skills including knowledge of Internet networks, Microsoft Office 2010 Suite, and data entry.
- Well organized, can prioritize tasks, and can pay attention to details.
- Must pass a drug screening test and a criminal background check.

Physical Demands:
- Stationary position for 8-10 hours a day
- Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
- Visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment.
- To perform this job successfully, the employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position. Daily movements include sitting, standing, operating computers and other office equipment and moving about the office. The employee must be able to communicate via email and verbally via telephone.
Working Hours/Days:
- Full time
- 40 hours (8am-5pm)
- Monday through Friday
- Occasional overtime as needed
