Job description

Must love people! We are looking for an applicant with customer service and computer skills to join our friendly and energetic front desk staff. Our #1 goal is to keep our vacationing guests happy, and the front desk is where it all begins. Seasonal from May-October. Housing, meal plans, and bonuses available.

Shifts are usually 7 AM to 3 PM and 2 PM to 10 PM.

General

• Answer phone calls and direct calls appropriately
• Be able to answer any question guest may have about resort services or be able to find out if not known
• Answer guest questions as they arise from own knowledge or research
• Meet guest needs such as extra pillows or blankets
• Inform or contact Maintenance Manager of problems or needs as they arise
• Follow all opening and closing procedures

Guest Reservations

• Facilitate guest reservations by phone, email or in person
• Know units well enough to describe to guests and be able to answer questions
• Take individual guest reservations under a group block for groups such as weddings, clubs and family reunions if properly trained to do so.
• Check guests in upon arrival and check them out upon departure
• Collect deposit and balance payments

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
