SUMMARY
Provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate parties, mail distribution, flow of correspondence, requisition of supplies as well as additional clerical duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Functions:
- Answers telephones and directs the caller to the appropriate party.
- Greets and directs visitors to the organization.
- Takes and retrieves messages for various personnel.
- Provides callers with information such as company address, directions to the company locations, company fax numbers, company website and other related information.
- Receives, sorts and forwards incoming mail.
- Coordinates the pick-up and delivery of express mail services (FedEx, UPS, etc.)
- Assists in the ordering, receiving, stocking and distribution of office supplies.
- Assists with other related clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, filing, etc.
- Responsible for site safety coordinator duties
- Complete and up to date sign in sheet and temperature log
- Completes all Core Curriculum training(s) required for this position.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED required Associated preferred; Previous administrative assistance experience preferred.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
Strong keyboard skills
Demonstrated level of high proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Good written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive and confidential information
Good organizational skills including flexibility and ability to manage more than one project at a time
Strong attention to detail
Current driver’s license as some travel to other locations may be required
Current auto insurance as some travel to other locations may be required
Ability to work some evenings and weekends, as necessary
