Title: Freight Coordinator

Location: Bolingbrook, IL

Hire Type: Direct hire ($85k-$95k))

Job Duties:

• Act as central hub for strategic freight decisions, contract management, problem resolution, etc.
• Prepare, negotiate and implement freight contracts and rate agreements.
• Ensure freight prices are in system and local offices have best, current information
• Create and maintain information tools for distributed freight procurement.
• Identify opportunities to improve TCO for freight procurement spend.
• Develop reports on freight spend, contract performance
• Assist in auditing freight bills for compliance to contracts and established rates.
• Prepare rate agreements.
• Ensure these are captured in system and local offices are notified about contracts and pricing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business / MIS
• Minimum 10 years freight management experience, including price coordination among multiple offices.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
