Forklift Technician Training Instructor

Naumann/Hobbs is looking for YOU to fill our Equipment Training Instructor position for our Phoenix, AZ location.

Position Summary:
The Equipment Training Instructor will be responsible for Developing and maintaining a rigorous and thorough training program for employees and customers on Crown specific equipment.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Conduct PIT* (forklift) Training Classes on Crown forklifts to consist of full training class or subparts (refresher or evaluation only) for internal Techs/Operators or customers.
- Conduct MEWP* (aerial or scissor) Training Classes on Crown lifts to consist of full training class or subpart (familiarization or evaluation) for internal Techs/Operators or customers.
- Conduct Train-the-Trainer sessions for PIT or MEWP for internal Techs/Operators or customers.
- Should attend factory training from manufacturer to stay current with knowledge and certs.
- Maintain training materials (not limited to online LMS, digital, DVD or other media, slideshows, training manuals, workbooks, handouts, testing materials, etc.).
- Update training programs to reflect changes in OSHA regulations.
- Learn and be able to train on new equipment/models (keep up with product features and tech).
- Must be willing to travel to customer and branch locations.
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Maintain documentation (class records, internal operator certification, customer proof of training).
- Generate wallet cards, certificates, and Notices of Completion.
- Customer billing (generate document and obtain payment information).
- Customer Payment follow-up (collection of payment and disputes).
- Schedule and book classes.
- Maintain Operator Training log for all associates- Scheduling classes to ensure that everyone is certified as required by law (in all locations).
- Assist the other manufacturer trainer as needed.
Competencies Skills and Abilities:
- Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent project management skills.
- A high attention to detail.
- An ability to complete difficult tasks under tight deadlines.
- Good time management and the ability to multitask.
- The ability to maintain composure when dealing with difficult personalities and/or situations.
- A desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
Education & Experience:
- Technical Certification on PIT equipment
- Technical Training Certification
- PIT Certification
- Industry experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Some college preferred

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
