Being one of the fastest growing manufacturers in VA, this has given us the opportunity to expand our workforce. We are currently hiring a Production Technician whom will report to the Plant Manager at Prince George plant.

Candidate requirements:

· Work in a team environment at a fast pace

· Be dependable and accountable to show up to work on time

· Work a rotating schedule of 12-hour shifts/3 to 5 days-per-week, alternating every other weekend including overtime

· Lift 75 pounds or more on a regular basis

· Work effectively in hot (120) and cold temperatures for long periods of time

· Have good math skills

· High School Graduate or GED

Job Duties:

· Work in a team environment

· Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean orderly work areas

· Completes pre-check equipment inspections

· Actively participates in performing safety observations on fellow Team Members, and using behavior based safety methodology to continuously improve their own safe work habits

· Inspect scrap for hazardous materials.

· Stage scrap in appropriate storage areas to await inspection

· Stage scrap in appropriate storage areas to await inspection.

· Monitor charging equipment.

· Electronically capture weights for maintaining accurate inventory.

· Load scrap containers and convey to charge magazine.

· Maintain a consistent and organized flow of material within the facility and communicate with all levels of the organization.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
