Location: Hanover, PA

Pay of Forklift Driver: Leads to Permanent Job Opportunity

1st Shift : (6am-2pm)

2nd shift: (2pm-10pm)

Payrate: $18.87hr

Pay Increases $1 after hired on by company

Summary of Position:

While Duties Listed below are all encompassing, not all of those duties are performed continually on a regular basis (i.e.: Daily, Weekly, Etc.). The Checkers Objective to perform warehousing, shipping, and repacking support functions under the Direction of the Frozen warehouse Supervisor.

Responsibilities

•This position is responsible Picking Orders to be shipped, Checks merchandise being received, warehousing, and support functions under the direction of the Frozen Warehouse Supervisor

•Job should be performed in a manner that promotes efficiency, customer service level and employee harmony, n accordance with guidelines established by Management in a safe and productive manner, while maintaining predetermined quality standards

•Perform assigned Distribution and audit functions to ensure inventory accuracy and provide efficient services to user departments

•While the duties listed below are all encompassing, not all of those duties are performed continually on a regular basis (i.e.: daily, weekly, etc.). The duties performed are dependent on the operation being supported

•Ability to operate all department equipment (i.e. lift truck, hand truck)

•Perform required BPCS, Distribution and audit functions to assure accurate reporting of inventory movement

•Check and confirm that the wheels are chocked in the trailer being loaded

•Assist with cycle counting and physical inventories

•Responsible for physically lifting up to 100 pounds as required

•Unload product into/from trucks using forklift/pallet jack

•Complete inhouse forklift training class and the forklift evaluation before operating a forklift

•Perform forklift preventative maintenance checks and attend forklift safety meetings

•Maintain inventory accuracy by ensuring proper counts and documentation

•Unload products from trailers using forklift trucks and other material handling equipment

Requirements of Forklift worker:

• Ability to read and write
• Ability to lift up to 100lbs
• Ability to stand up to 8-10 hours
• Ability to bend, twist, and pull
