Pinewoods – Food Service/Dietary Cook- Various Shifts Full-time

Under direct supervision must learn to prepare, heat and finish cooking food items and serve customers. Clean work area, utensils, equipment, dishes, and silverware. Must be able to prepare meals and follow established recipes. Duties include: Preparing ingredients, adhering to menus, and following food health and safety procedures. Cook, clean, and assist other staff and deliver food in a fast-paced environment. May include operating a grill, oven, or fryer.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certified Serve safe food handler or willing to become certified. Strong time management skills and proven history of workplace punctuality, experience with a variety of cooking products and tools, good interpersonal and communication skills, self-directed and motivated.

McIntosh Trail Community Service Board conducts background checks on all final candidates. Hiring of applicants is contingent upon satisfactory results of:

Fingerprint Based Background Check of the Georgia and Federal Criminal History Record
Database
Drug Screen
Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for seven years

TB testing will be required upon appointment. If you have previously tested positive for TB, you will be required to bring a copy of your chest x-ray on your first day of orientation.
