Job description

Food Service Supervisor needed for a multi-unit food service management company in a university setting. The Supervisor should work closely and communicate frequently with the General Manager, Executive Chef and Sous Chef regarding product needs, food quality, sanitation issues and other general food service needs and concerns.

The ideal Supervisor will ensure superior customer service and an overall welcoming and pleasant environment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Supervising duties of food service personnel, including sanitation, food quality and performance.
• Cash handling; ability to work a register if needed.
• Willingness to learn all operations and flexibility to assist with a variety of positions, as needed.

Requirements:

• Previous supervisory experience
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office

Preferred:

• Cooking/baking experience
• Previous experience in a university setting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
