Our locations are at the heart of our country’s most extraordinary outdoor destinations—from national parks to wine country, and snow-capped mountains to sun-soaked beaches. Trailborn’s debut location will launch in 2023 at the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park in Estes Park, Colorado, with hotels to follow in the Grand Canyon, Mendocino, CA, Highlands, NC, and Wrightsville Beach, NC. This is just the beginning.
THE ROLE
Job Title: Food Server / Cocktail Server
Reports to: Restaurant Manager & Director of Food & Beverage
Compensation: $3.13 plus tips

We are looking for a qualified candidate with experience in hospitality, a positive outlook, and a drive to succeed.
Job Summary
The purpose of our restaurant servers is to ensure that every patron has the ultimate dining experience by providing quality customer service. Servers are the face of our establishment and are expected to provide friendly and attentive service at all times.
Duties and Responsibilities
§ Set-up dining room and back area with silverware, napkins, product, to-go ware, etc.
§ Present menu and assist guests in making selections through both food and beverage menu knowledge
§ Increase check averages be upselling with every course
§ Transmitting orders from the table to the POS promptly and accurately
§ Serve items in a timely fashion to ensure proper temperature and presentation
§ Adhere to sanitation and safety standards and local laws
§ Clearing tables after each course to maintain a clean and suitable dining experience
§ Have proper cash handling abilities to maintain billing and payments properly
§ Present and open tableside wines
§ Assisting all other employees where needed by running food, cleaning tables, seating guests, etc.
§ Awareness and promotion of all resort facilities, functions and activities
§ Thorough knowledge of surrounding area to helpfully answer guest questions
§ Attend all meetings and training courses
Requirements
§ Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
§ Minimum of two years serving experience in a high volume & fast paced environment
§ Cash handling and POS capability
§ Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
§ Ability to stand for up to eight hours a day outdoors
§ Be able to function in high volume and fast paced environment
§ No visible piercings or tattoos; clean shaven and well groomed
§ Experience in a hotel or resort setting is preferred
