***OPEN POSITION IS FOR one of the following shifts:
1st Shift, 6:00am to 2:30 pm *** 5-6 days per week
3rd Shift, 10:00pm - 6:30am *** 5-6 days per week
The Production Associate is responsible for the safety and productivity of all production employees staffed on designated shift, as well as plant security. Additionally, the this position is accountable for ensuring that production scheduled for completion is executed in a timely manner and within all quality parameters and for participation in both the hiring and performance management processes.

· Ensure the safety and productivity of all employees assigned to designated shift
· Enable effective communications between management and operators
· Train new employees and coach existing employees
· Initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures
· Maintaining quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
· Maintaining a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all equipment and resources
· Making sure that production team are following Good Manufacturing Practices to ensure property food safety handling
· Assigning production operators to different work stations; efficiently utilizing employees skills and time
· Manufacture and pack products as necessary
· Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Operates dough compressor machine
- Checks for quality of thickness, color, moisture level
- Checks for presence of any foreign objects in dough
- Properly forms dough sheets into spools, packaged for aging and ensures proper order of formation
- Follows proper feeding procedures
- Follows proper safety protocols
- Helps with preparation for mixing
- Responsible for pre-operation procedures (refer to pre-operation checklist)
- Cleans out “soboro tub”
- Reports any machinery irregularities and malfunctions to direct supervisors
- Ensures surrounding workplace is clean and organized; removes any dough and debris build up around the equipment
- Other duties as assigned
Production Specific
· Understanding all equipment, including mixers and cutters, to ensure production is running accurately, efficiently and smoothly
· Understanding all recipes and measuring accurately to ensure recipes are consistent
· Continuously monitoring mixers, cutting machines, packaging machines and other related equipment packaging they are running properly
· Overseeing processes and procedures to ensure that noodles and products are produced, packaged, tempered and stored properly
· Ensuring that products are up to SUN NOODLE quality standards
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS
· MUST be able to lift at least 40-50 llbs consistently.
· Food handling experience is a plus
· Excellent organizational and time management skills
· Excellent leadership skills
· Follows and maintains SUN NOODLE’s Good Manufacturing Practices and good hygiene practices
