The Food and Beverage Analyst will provide financial insights that help in the decision-making process. The position conducts performance analyses; analyzing both product categories and the overall profitability of the business. Develops and monitors key performance metrics. **This position is a remote position, but the candidate must be located in the Las Vegas metropolitan area.**

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs), automated reporting and dashboards, and process improvements to meet business needs
• Sales analysys including price, volume and product mix impact
• Generating weekly food and beverage financial reporting for all operating locations
• Ensures that revenue, payments, etc are accurately posted by finance team
• Work with F&B Systems Administrator to ensure accurate pricing/reporting from POS systems
• Participate as needed in loss/theft prevention activities or in investigations
• Partners with non-gaming audit team as needed to verify data
• Collect, manipulate, interpret and present data from many sources such as Agilysys Analyze, Infogenesis, Avero Slingshot, Coupa Business Spend Management, and Recipe Costing platforms
• Create reporting templates and dashboards to effectively convey results against budget, prior period, etc
• Generate ad hoc reporting/analyses as needed
• Lead annual food and beverage budgeting process with direction from SVP and Sr. Director
• Sales Projections
• Menu pricing opportunities based on market trends and product mix analysis
• Profitability per item and category
• Actual vs theoretical COGS analysis
• Perform other job duties as assigned

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent gaming/hotel industry experience.
• At least (2) two years finance or related experience, with gaming F&B and/or hotel F&B experience a plus.

SPECIFIC SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Solid working knowledge of MS Office, Python, Power BI and SQL
• Prior experience working with food and beverage systems
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of classified information
• Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
• Meet established reporting timelines with minimal supervision in a remote work environment
• Ability to multi-task under tight timelines
• Self-starter who can take initiative and follow through on projects and tasks and can establish required tools and processes that do not exist
• Effective, clear and concise oral and written communication skills
• Ability to maintain organization, responsiveness, accountability and motivation under stressful situations
