Graphic Edge Printing and Packaging provides commercial printing and packaging for the greater Milwaukee area. Customers include direct to manufacturer, print brokers, and volume print partners.

We have an immediate opening for an experienced folder-gluer operator to join our team. Graphic Edge has minimal turn-over with most of our employees working here at least 10 years, and some 15 and 20+ years. This is a rare opportunity to become a part of our growing company.

Job Responsibilities:

• Minimum of 1-year experience working with glue applications
• Machine setup for optimal quality and run speed
• Folding and gluing operation including loading and feeding product
• Troubleshooting and problem solving
• Monitor glue application for placement, adhesion and quality based on different job requirements
• Maintain regular preventative maintenance on equipment
• Perform minor repairs (ex: belt replacement) or identify when repair technicians are needed
• Coordinate to make sure that supply levels are maintained and order when needed
• Communicate with other departments as needed to coordinate workflow
• Basic computer skills and ability to work in job management system
• Read job ticket for each order’s specific requirements and identify potential problem areas
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Available for occasional evening and weekend work as needed
• Running Heidelberg Diana GO and Moll straight line folder gluers

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to operate forklift, electric pallet jack, and hand truck
• OSHA Forklift Certification
• Ability to operate a guillotine cutter
• Willingness to learn our services and the print process
• Self-starter and goal oriented
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer skills in MS Word, Excel, and Google Workspace

Starting at $24.00-$30.00/hour for well qualified applicants
