AbleHearts Consulting Services currently has an opening for a dynamic Floating Director of Nursing with the ability to travel to various AbleHearts facilities in Southern Illinois as needed when there is a vacancy in nursing leadership. The ideal candidate will have the following qualities and attributes:

- Excels at resolving differences and maintaining a motivated, results-oriented workforce
- Ability to travel regularly to Northern Illinois AbleHearts communities is required
The Director of Nursing will also conduct regular rounds to assure nursing practices and services provide a safe and clean environment. They will interview and select new nursing staff as well as train and evaluate the nursing team, and develop and maintain nursing care objectives.

Benefits may vary based on full, part-time or PRN status
- Must be a Registered Nurse in good standing with a valid license in our state.
- Previous long-term care experience as a Director of Nursing Services is desired.
- Have experience in performance management and effective leadership.
- Able to relate positively and favorably to residents, families, and government regulators, and to work cooperatively with others at all levels.
- Demonstrates understanding of state and federal regulations that govern the practices of the facility.
