Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine Centers is seeking a Float Patient Services Coordinator to support front desk operations at multiple locations within our family of 31 Physical Therapy clinics across Connecticut. This unique travel role provides administrative assistance to the organization by providing front desk coverage to clinics as necessary.

The towns this position covers will include: Avon, Danielson, East Hampton, Essex, Glastonbury, Groton, New London, Newington, Putnam, Simsbury, West Hartford, Westbrook, Wethersfield, and Windsor.

Patient Service Coordinators are vital members of all our clinic teams. They are often the first and last point of contact at our front desk. PSCs provide quality customer service while managing front desk operations and administrative duties.

Responsibilities include: *

• Provide outstanding customer service
• Greet patients and visitors entering the clinic
• Answer telephones and direct calls accordingly
• Explain all forms to ensure completion such as intake and insurance documents
• Educate patients regarding physical therapy benefit information and insurance coverage
• Input documents and data accurately in the electronic medical record
• Schedule appointments
• Collect patient payments
