Caregiver Float Pool Position - Clatsop Care Health District - $20/hr.

Are you looking for more flexibility in your nursing schedule? Would you like to work at more than one facility in your area? Clatsop Care Health District is seeking skilled and compassionate caregivers to work in the float pool serving Clatsop Care Memory Community and Clatsop Retirement Village!

The Float Pool caregiver is responsible for providing routine daily nursing care to assigned patients to assure patient safety and attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of each patient in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.

About the position:

• Float pool employees are assigned to work at Clatsop Care Memory Community and Clatsop Retirement Village.
• Employees are responsible for transportation to each facility.
• You are able to work at least 2 shift times (Day, Eve or Noc).
• You are able to work at least 2 weekend shifts per month; full-time and part-time schedules are also available.
• Be available to work 4 of the 6 major holidays (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas). You are willing to be available to work two of the following holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day.
• Team members are eligible for holiday shift differential pay.

Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements:

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• One (1) year geriatric nursing experience preferred.
• CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
