Registered Nurse Supervisor- Wythe County and surrounding areas

Part Time- 20-25 hours per week-FLEXIBLE SCHEDULING (could possibly grow to be more hours, if desired)

We are looking to add to our team a dependable, compassionate, and dedicated RN with flexible availability.

This person must be caring and empathetic toward the elderly, disabled and their families while maintaining a positive attitude. Must have strong leadership characteristics, excellent communication skills (orally and in writing), patient management skills and possess problem resolution skills.

Must hold an active Virginia Registered Nurse license, valid CPR and have an excellent driving record. Must be able to pass a federal guideline drug screen, background check and reference check.

Home Health and/or geriatric experience preferred but not required.

This position is approximately 20-25 hours per week.

Duties include:

• Ensures caregivers are properly trained and oriented to care for patients
• Supervises and completes evaluations of the caregivers
• Performs initial clinical assessment and reassessments for each patient
• Prepares plans of care for each patient, reviews nursing notes to ensure that the care plan is being followed.
• Discusses nursing concerns with staff, family and community partners involved in the patient’s care.
• Oversee client care and staff in senior residential home
