Benefits:
- Your compensation is never commission-based so you're always paid for your time, whether training clients or not.
- We provide and compensate you for the necessary training (a personal training background is helpful but not required)
- Full-time employees receive 13 days of paid vacation/sick leave, and up to 3 days can be carried over
- Part-time employees receive sick leave (1 hour for every 87 worked) that can be carried over, up to 3 days per year.

Job Description and Details:
Our studio offers a sunny, casual, fun-but-professional environment using top-of-the-line proprietary training equipment. Each coach works with just one person at a time, or a small group of 2-4 people, guiding and motivating them as well as keeping sharp eyes for form, challenges and safety. The equipment keeps track of their progress over time so that you can work with them to achieve the results they're looking for.
In addition to training our clients, all employees share responsibility for communicating with clients, scheduling and leading free sessions to help prospects understand our program and, ideally, become members. We all do it all - and we never negotiate or pressure anyone into joining. The program pretty much sells itself.

Job Location:
The Exercise Coach® studio is located in Cleveland Park, half a block from the Metro (Red Line) and surrounded by restaurants, bars, markets and shopping.
Shifts:
The available shifts are:
- M, T, Th from 1 to 8pm
- Friday from 1 to 7pm
- Alternating Saturdays from 7:30am to 1pm
Since we are growing, there is the possibility that we'll be hiring for shifts from 7-11 on weekday mornings and 4-7 on weekday evenings.
Required Skills:
These are the qualities and skills you must already have in order to qualify for this position:
- Passion for health & fitness: This is where it all begins!
- People skills and personality: You must LOVE working with people, make them feel heard and understood, and lead with energy and excitement!
- Great communication skills: You must be comfortable and able to communicate clearly and professionally with our prospects and clients in-person, on the phone and via text and email.
- Comfort with computer systems since we all share in communicating with, scheduling and tracking our clients. (Mindbody experience is a plus.)
- A true teamwork mentality. This team is really supportive of one another and we want to keep it that way!
- A quick learner, especially if you don't have the preferred skills.
Preferred Skills
- Health and fitness education and/or personal training certification(s)
- CPR/AED Certification
- Experience with other strength training techniques
- Knowledge about nutrition

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
