FW Engineer

Reporting to: SR. Software Engineer/Engineering Manager

> THE OPPORTUNITY
As a Firmware Engineer on the RF Firmware Engineering Team, you will be helping design, implement and firmware for our new digital controllers that will be used in our next generation RF Generators and RF Matches. You will also implement control algorithms used in our products and will participate in all phases of the design and development processes including definition, implementation, test and verification.

> KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Work as part of the FW team to define software interfaces according to the architecture and algorithms defined

· Participate in the design and development of firmware for the next generation RF controllers

· Deliver quality, legible code with adequate documentation following MISRA directives

· Other duties may be assigned

> KEY Qualifications and Skills
· BSCS or BSEE

· 1 – 3 years of relevant experience in similar role

· Strong knowledge of electrical/computer/software engineering fundamentals.

· Good analytical, problem solving, organizational, and time management skills.

· Experience in embedded C/C++. Python and Shell a plus.

· Familiar with software development life cycle methods.

· Familiar with version control systems like Git.

· Excellent communication and team skills

Pay: $98,245.84 - $125,000.00 per year
