Overall Purpose

This position prepares and consolidates Richter’s financial statements in accordance with US-GAAP and IDEX corporate requirements. Plays a vital role in the Annual Operating Plan development and submittal.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepares and consolidates financial statements in accordance with US-GAAP and IDEX corporate requirements.
• Ensures that financial statements are prepared according to US-GAAP. Serves as principal contact and advisor to internal customers and supports preparation of monthly financial statements and related GAAP adjustments.
• Serves as lead for OneStream. Trains all new OneStream users the business unit. Conducts on-site and remote training as needed to keep users informed of changes to OneStream reporting requirements. Serves as primary point of contact with the IDEX accounting function on OneStream and other financial reporting issues.
• Is a key player in the coordination and preparation of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP process owner)
• Responsible for all Annual Operating plan roll-ups, consolidations and schedules
• Coordinate the monthly forecast with multiple organizations
• Coordinate the weekly Orders, Sales, PBIT and cash forecast
• Manages the Monthly Management Reporting
• Assists internal and external auditors by providing schedules, reports, and analyses in response to inquires during their performance of interim and annual audits.
• Leads SOX internal control testing, monitoring, and implementation.
• Prepares specific monthly journal entries and account reconciliations in support of Aegis’ general accounting function.
• Prepares monthly EOZ inventory schedules and adjustments. Prepares adjustments needed to record inter-company profit resulting from inventory transactions between business units.
• Prepares monthly A/R analysis in order to establish required reserve balances and related bad debt expense.
• Assists with preparation and entry of any other necessary journal entry
• Monitors inter-company balances and activity between Aegis and other IDEX business units to ensure validity and accuracy of consolidated financial statements.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Experience in an industrial environment
• US-GAAP statements and corporate annual reports SEC reporting a plus.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations which affect financial reporting and record keeping is required.
• Should have working knowledge of Sarbanes/Oxley, have excellent communication and organization skills and must be a team player.
• Demonstrates a strong attention to detail while meeting strict deadlines.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and have strong organizational skills.
• Demonstrates cross-functional expertise and the ability to thrive in a highly complex environment with multiple locations.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Strong problem solving ability.
• Previous experience with OneStream is highly desired.
• Must be proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance is required. Advanced degree or professional certification is desirable.
