:
As a Financial Analyst / Senior Accountant in the Jet Aviation US operations, you will be responsible for providing detailed analysis of financial performance for the US region. You will additionally prepare journal entries and month-end financial reporting, compile, and review budgets for corporate departments, and create various other reports. You will be collaborating closely with the Director of Finance for each line of business and the head of each corporate department. This position is a hybrid role out of our office location in West Palm Beach, FL.
Main Responsibilities:
- In this dual role, you will perform daily accounting functions, financial reporting, management reporting, and financial analysis
- Manage and maintain financial records for the corporate departments.
- Process journal entries in the general ledger system as needed.
- Review monthly balance sheet reconciliations to determine adjustments needed.
- Prepare month-end financial reporting submissions to Jet Aviation group finance.
- Prepare income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow forecasts and perform in-depth variance analysis of the results.
- Complete end-of-month management reports and explanations of entity performance.
- Provide in depth analysis of actual and budget variances
- Work with Director of FP&A to establish annual budget controls for US operations
- Assist in creating monthly forecasts and annual budgets for corporate departments
- Support SOX audits for US entities by completing data requests
- Support quarterly tax requests from tax department
- Continuously review existing financial processes to identify and recommend improvements
- Prepare ad hoc reports and perform other duties as assigned.
- Assists in the development and enforcement of strong internal controls.
- Other duties may be assigned, as needed.

- Must be able to pass a ten-year background check and pre-employment drug test.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Four years or more of finance and corporate accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related discipline
- Experience working with an ERP accounting system (SAP preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Excel (Vlookup, Pivot Tables, etc) is highly preferred
- Willingness to take on additional responsibilities and grow with the team
- Ability to work independently and proactively, but also as a collaborator on a team
- Self-Starter, excellent time management
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Well organized, detail oriented, and accurate
- Proactive approach to problem solving, analytical mind
- Must be able to read, write and speak the English language fluently.
- Able to travel as needed

The employee must be able to work in both a heavy maintenance environment and in upscale customer areas. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate with occasional high volume when aircrafts arrive/depart. The employee is frequently exposed to vibration. Occasional fuel fumes may permeate the workplace. Employee must be willing and able to work in all types of weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The Hangar environment may be extreme hot and cold during certain seasons of the year.
