Overview

Responsibilities

  • Provide financial consultation, products, and services that ensure timely and accurate delivery to identified customers within the consolidated system and the separate operational elements that constitute the system as a whole, with emphasis on assigned operational areas. Work closely with management and staff as applicable to provide a menu of products and services that will promote customer service expectations, revenue enhancement, and cost reduction efforts.
  • Ensure accuracy, automation and understanding of system-wide, key statistics that drive revenue and costs. Increase opportunities for adoption and usage of key statistics in reporting and accountability.
  • Support CHI Health’s system-wide strategies and operational planning activities with the routine operation of all FP&A systems.
  • Develop and produce routine reports from FP&A systems, ensuring accuracy of data.
  • Responsible for designing tools, forms, worksheets, manuals and other materials as necessary to facilitate the FP&A activity.
  • Provide group and individualized training suitable for leadership/management team in the use of FP&A systems, as applicable. Prepare and distribute procedures and system documentation. Provide education and process training to internal staff regarding proper maintenance of FP&A systems in order to assure accurate, timely, and consistent data.
  • Conduct financial forecasting for the consolidated Physician Enterprise, including financial statement analysis, preparation of pro forma financial statements, break even analyses, ratio analyses, capital planning, and evaluation of financing options, as applicable.
  • Accurately compile and effectively communicate budget, all levels of management and actively pursue resolution of identified issues, as applicable. Establish and maintain appropriate controls to assure accuracy in process. Spearhead collection of information from all staff responsible for budget.
  • Perform other responsibilities and projects, as justified by the needs of Physician Enterprise operations, such as ad-hoc reports, trend analyses, and special projects.
  • Must have ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a diverse and multi-cultural environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or closely related field required
Two (2) to seven (7) years of experience within the Finance or Accounting, or closely related field preferred. Relevant experience in a healthcare environment and computer systems strongly preferred.
