Summary
West Texas Gas “WTG”, a portfolio company of Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners (SIP), is seeking a Financial Analyst to support the finance, commercial, and operational functions of WTG with duties to include maintaining financial models and supporting the finance team with commercial analysis on evaluations for organic projects, financings, margin improvement efforts, and acquisitions, and assisting with the annual budgeting process and periodic reporting requirements. The position will report to the Director of Corporate Development and work alongside WTG’s finance and commercial teams.

WTG was founded in 1976 by J.L. Davis who built, owned and ran the company over 40+ years building it into a profitable and diversified conglomerate. Headquartered in Midland, TX, WTG currently provides natural gas services primarily in Texas and Oklahoma, operated through three businesses segments: Downstream (natural gas distribution and transmission, including renewable natural gas service), Midstream (natural gas gathering and processing), and Fuels (liquids fuels services, and convenience stores). Stonepeak acquired a controlling equity stake in WTG in 2021.
Description
Maintain and update internal financial models using financial and operational information gathered across business segments to measure past performance and forecast future results
Support management with financial analysis on a project-by-project basis for purposes of capital allocation
Aggregate information and prepare presentations for stakeholders, including the board of directors, management, lenders and others
Qualifications & Abilities
1+ years of finance experience (investment banking, private equity, or energy corporate finance preferred but not required)
Bachelor’s degree (finance, accounting, or economics major preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint with financial modeling experience
Strong written and oral communication and organization skills
Attention to detail and quality of work product
Ability to manage multiple workflows, and learn and adapt to new systems and subject matter
Familiarity with the midstream energy sector preferred but not required
The salary range below is generated by Indeed. Salary is commensurate with experience level.

Pay: $76,231.56 - $105,319.57 per year
