Job description

igus Inc., a dynamic and growing global corporation with North American headquarters in East Providence, RI has an immediate opening for a Financial Analyst. The individual will report to the Chief Financial Officer and will gain the hands-on experience needed to successfully support accounting and financial analyses of ongoing business activities.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general accounting and monthly closing activities
• Prepare daily cash reconciliations and journalize activity as needed
• Ensure accurate and timely sales tax reporting
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and maintain supporting schedules
• Work with fixed asset schedules and depreciation calculations
• Compile and report weekly and monthly performance metrics
• Play Key role in ERP implementation
• Play an active role in the external fiscal and tax audit processes
• Work with cross functional teams on process improvement opportunities.
• Perform other duties as directed by management

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting
• 1–3 years of experience
• Strong computer literacy with advanced Microsoft Office skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
