Gettysburg College, in historic Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, is seeking a full-time Finance Coordinator to work for the Finance and Administration Division. Gettysburg College is a highly selective, residential undergraduate liberal arts college, which enrolls approximately 2,400 students. This position reports to the Vice President for Finance and Administration/Treasurer and the Associate Vice President for Finance/Associate Treasurer.

The Finance Coordinator provides administrative, programmatic and clerical support to the Vice President for Finance and Administration/Treasurer, Associate Vice President for Finance/Associate Treasurer, Senior Director of Budget & Financial Planning, Senior Director of Financial Services/Controller and the Executive Director of Auxiliary Services. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Maintains daily appointment schedule and provide general administrative support to the senior administrators in the Office of Finance and Administration.

· Prepares, reviews and edits documents and information related to the Office of Finance and Administration, and has ability to handle confidential information in a responsible manner.

· Works with the Associate Vice President for Finance/Associate Treasurer and the investment advisor to coordinate investment transactions and compliance.

· Works in collaboration with the Senior Administrative Assistant and office administrators to maintain corporate records; to support debt refinancing, proposal requests, meetings with rating agencies, banks and other external partners; and to prepare information for committees of the Board of Trustees.

· Oversees legal expense reporting, reviews proformas and invoices for appropriate allocation and recommended reallocations. Maintains detailed records of divisional and special matters, and prepares supporting documents for compilation of year-end audit.

· Coordinates travel arrangements for the Office of Finance and Administration.

· Serves as a Notary Public to the campus community (if a Pennsylvania resident and after training).

A high school diploma or equivalency is required, with additional formal education and on-the-job training preferred. Experience providing administrative service and support to executives is also desired. The following knowledge is required for the successful completion of position duties: general knowledge of office practices and procedures, budget management, word processing, spreadsheets, calendar management applications, proper usage of grammar, and the role of the Finance and Administration Division with a specific focus on the broad-range of operations within the Division. The successful candidate will possess strong written, communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to positively interact with a wide range of individuals with a dedicated commitment to diversity and inclusion. Additionally, the following demonstrated abilities are required to successfully perform the duties of this position: exceptional customer service skills, ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment, work effectively with a variety of individuals in a collaborative manner, handle a variety of tasks simultaneously, ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a responsible and appropriate manner, organize an office, communicate orally and in writing, work independently as well as in a team environment, meet deadlines successfully, strong attention to detail, and exhibit proactive and responsive approaches to projects and day-to-day office responsibilities. Pay Rate: $19.00 to $20.00 per hour, negotiable depending upon experience
