Job Summary:

Implements all training programs and services intended to improve the ability and performance of management and team members, monitor field execution, feedback, provide recommendations and support on improving gaps and deficiencies.

· Works closely with the Senior Director of Field Training, the Director of Ops Integration + Training, and the mid-management teams to coordinate all Franchise training support and new product rollouts within the geographic areas.

· Coordinates and supports franchise NRO activity ensuring pre-opening and opening training plans are highly executed

· Monitors the progress of Franchise Managers in Training and provides timely communications to the management teams on trainee performance and progress.

· Assist in the identification and support of training restaurants.

· Coordinate and facilitate New Franchisee trainees training plans

· Works in conjunction with Franchise Operations and the Franchise Business Director team to strategically support all company initiatives for Franchisees.

· Organizes, supports and facilitates development workshops and seminars as well as Bojangles University courses and Academy curriculum.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assist with Franchise New Restaurant Openings and support schedules to ensure flawless new restaurant openings.
  • Assists Franchisees in identifying, developing, and certifying Nationally Certified Training Restaurants– 1 per multi-unit director.
  • Conduct weekly visits to training locations to ensure Brand uniformity, proper daily operations procedures, and training consistency.
  • Monitor and supervise the processes of the Managers in Training (MITs). Identify and report excellence and/or concerns in performance to the respective Area Director and the Director of Field Training.
  • Provide development for franchise Training General Managers through delivery of knowledge support and feedback.
  • Provide support to Franchise Operations as deployed by Sr. Director of Field Training.
  • Serve as advisor/subject matter expert to leadership for all training and development matters.
  • Conduct remote training sessions through use of virtual platforms.
  • Coordinate and support ongoing brick and mortar classroom training and workshops for franchisees in conjunction with virtual attendance through use of technology.
  • Provide input and assist in the design and development of Bojangles’ training programs and curriculum.
  • Coordinate successful training support of new products, processes, and procedures.
  • Participate in Zone/Area meetings, conduct workshops to aid in the continued development of management.
  • Perform administrative tasks associated with field training initiatives. Manage training expenditures within established budget.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Extensive background in delivering training content to restaurant leaders on restaurant procedures, restaurant management, and leadership, and delivering program feedback to curriculum designers to improve training quality and execution.

· Ability to work 50-hour minimum workweek

· Ability to travel extensively up to 70% of overall job requirement with overnight stays.

· Ability to travel multiple weeks at a time to support New Restaurant Opening’s and Franchisee Training.

· Proficiency in presenting and communicating in group environments

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Preferred, but nor required: Bilingual - Spanish

Education and Experience:

· Bachelors degree in relevant field.

· 3 years of experience in implementing employee development programs.

· Ideal candidate is a Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) credential preferred.

· Internal candidates: Current General Manager or Training General Manager in good standing with a minimum of 2-years tenure.

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
