The work performed would be really rewarding for someone who really wants to share their knowledge and help other people. The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate will include the following:

Determining and scheduling field service professionals to jobs
Managing, mentoring, training, evaluating and disciplining field service professionals
Making sure all field service work is done according to company procedures and customer needs
Making sure field service professionals adhere to best practices
Managing the technical support function
Coordinating with others to ensure field service work is completed as scheduled
Traveling up to 25% domestically and internationally
Working with Enterprise Resource Planning software
Assisting with telephone technical support if needed
Participating in the creation of field service training programs
Making safety a priority
Analyzing completed field service projects
Following up with customers to ensure satisfaction and provide that feedback to employees

The background of the successful candidate must include the following to be considered for this position:

A related degree
Five or more years of technical field service work
One or more years of experience installing and troubleshooting Micrologix
One or more years in a leadership role for field service employees
Possess the ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%
A solid work history
A US citizen or possess a green card
A residence within 45 minutes
