You will be the primary scientific and technical interface for Namocell’s KOLs and customers. Responsibilities will include assay development, conducting system usage trainings for customers, providing experimental design, data analysis, and customer support. You will be a key driver to rapid adoption, customer success and scientific content with Namocell’s technology and products.
This position is based in the Greater Chicago area. Candidates must be currently based in this area or willing to relocate to this area. The territory this FAS will be responsible for includes ND, SD, NE, MN, IA, MO, WI, IL, MI, IN, OH. This position requires 20% travel, with 10% being overnight travel.
Responsibilities
Communicate:
- Serve as the technical account manager, acting as the point of contact with KOLs and customers.
- Keep customers apprised and trained on advancements in Namocell technology.
- Coordinate and perform customer trainings and demonstrations.
- Identify, document and communicate customer feedback to management.
- Contribute to application notes, white papers and other scientific documentation, and help to expand customer support content.
Connect:
- Engage in scientific discussions and partnerships with KOLs and customers as they develop their research utilizing Namocell technology.
- Participate in and conduct scientific presentations at trade shows, seminars and symposia, and engage with thought leaders.
- Create and maintain successful working relationships with customers.
- Gather and deliver customer feedback, communicating customer use cases.
Support:
- Troubleshoot issues relating to user technical skills and experimental design to drive customer success with Namocell products.
Desired Skills and Background
- Ph.D. or postdoc in Biology, Bioengineering, Biochemistry, Genetics, Biomedical Engineering or related fields.
- At least 3 years of mammalian cell culture experience, and at least 5 years of lab experience in cell biology, genomics or genetics.
- Hands on proficiency with common cell biology bench techniques especially mammalian cell culture; cell sorting experience is a plus.
- Broad knowledge of cell biology and genomics. Single cell laboratory experience is a plus.
- Self-motivated, go-getter and team player.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills. Outstanding presentation and training skills.
