What You'll Do
In this role you be responsible for supporting customers' development and operations regarding Samsung Semiconductor Auto SoC. Maintaining the relationships with automotive-related customers and 3rd party channel partners. Additional responsibilities include the technical marketing, attending technical shows and show cases, and supporting the field and lab test. The candidate will work in the Auburn Hills MI office and report to to the Sr. FAE Manager. You will collaborate with the local sales team and customers and with Samsung personnel across the globe and multiple time zones.

- IVI SoC products, partly Telematics Modem
- Provide the technical presentation to internal and external customers
- Review and advise how to build SW design aligned with SoC BSP
- Manage field engineering issues on record and organize issue database
- Debug issues and resolve them in corporation with the relative parties
- Act as the first point of contact for customers in technical questions
- Cooperate with and manage 3rd party partners to develop functions
- Support to build strategy ideas, market insight and trends for future product
What You Bring
- Bachelors and 3 years of experience, or an MS/MBA and at least 1 year of industry experience preferred
- Experience in software development related role (development, system design, integration and test)
- Experience in middleware, BSP and Hypervisor. Android and Hypervisor development experience would be preferable
- Experience in board bring-up, BSP customization and OS porting and experience in system integration, validation, testing and debugging
- Understanding automotive functional safety concept and automotive development process and an understanding ARM based architecture with basic knowledge of CPU, GPU and NPU
- Hands-on automotive related development/customer support in IVI and Telematics
- Experience in development/support/commercialization of complex IVI/wireless/embedded system
- Ability to travel (~25%) throughout the US
