Essential Functions:

Licensed Practitioners of the Healing Arts are responsible for supplying necessary clinical interventions as well as exercising the roles of mediator, broker, educator, advocate, outreach worker, and counselor on behalf of The Guidance Center’s clients and families. Therapists will provide culturally competent and sensitive services. As part of a therapeutic team within the agency, they are expected to work closely with all direct and support staff, including psychiatric, staff to ensure the appropriate treatment interventions for the client and his/her family.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Provide all clinical services and interventions with children and families in the home or community.
• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessment with children and families leading into individual or family therapy.
• Make necessary referrals and participate, as needed, in client engagement with higher levels of care (e.g., hospitalization, day treatment, partial hospital care).
• Attend all required meetings in a timely fashion .
• Other duties as assigned on behalf of the children and families we serve.

Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills:

• LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LCAT, LMFT, or licensed psychoanalyst. Applicants may also hold an active provisional license (MHC-LP, CAT-LP, MFT-LP)
• Maintains confidentiality of sensitive and emotionally charged information in accordance with HIPAA regulation.
• Required to travel and conduct session in client homes.
• Valid driver’s license.

Job Type: Fee For Service, up to 12 hours per week

Pay: $55 per session, $30 for supervision
