GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Family Partner is a person from the community with “lived experience” or familiarity with CRA-related issues, who is employed by the LMHC (Catholic Charities). The Family Partner works in conjunction with the Clinician and other FRC staff, supporting trauma-informed intakes, assessments and services delivered to families engaged with the Family Resource Center.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Conduct intake, screening, and assessments for all families, prioritizing families experiencing CRA-related issues.
- In conjunction with the FRC Clinician, complete CANS as well as other necessary assessments
- In conjunction with the FRC Clinician, develop the Family Support Plan for FRC Family Members experiencing CRA-related issues.
- Implement the Family Support Plan with the support of other FRC Staff.
- Lead parenting and other groups as assigned.
- Work with FRC Family Members as assigned as part of the FRC team, prioritizing families experiencing CRA-related issues.
- Complete administrative duties associated with Family Member service provision, including record-keeping and data entry.
- Engage in community outreach activities as assigned.
- Participate in regular FRC staff, leadership, and Cohort meetings
- Complete other tasks or job assignments as required.
COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
The Family Partner must have “lived experience” or familiarity with CRA-related issues. Required to pass initial competency evaluation as well as continued assessments of professional development and future trainings. A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record is required.
