We are currently seeking to hire a Facility/Maintenance Tech in Tampa. The ideal candidate will have experience in a food or beverage production facility. Will be extremely organized, manages their time efficiently, communicates professionally and can multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Preferred candidates will have at least 3 to 5 years of experience as a facility or maintenance Tech.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of successful experience in facility/maintenance in food or beverage
• Extremely organized and detail oriented with the ability to prioritize and plan
• An entrepreneurial spirit and ability to adapt to a changing and evolving environment - takes ownership of the production facility
• Strong ability to work autonomously without the need to supervision
• In line with our values of bringing better food to the market – a brand ambassador!
• Clean driving record and fork lift training
• Physical ability to lift 50lbs.
• Vacuum Pump experience preferred

Responsibilities and duties:

• Responsible for the overall facility management and maintenance of an expanding food production facility
• Develop and lead a preventative maintenance program for all equipment and facility utilities
• Lead the security of the facility, ensuring we are free from potential tampering
• Develop an emergency and contingency plans for all equipment and operations
• Coordinate and negotiate with all outside contractors for work needed. Develop a list of primary, secondary providers of service.
• Lead efforts to explore cost reduction in the facility operations
• Some machine operation of packaging equipment
• Keep the facility and materials organized and support sanitation department keeping the facility clean
