JOB TITLE: Facilities Supervisor (North Miami-Dade Properties)
JOB DETAILS:
Supervises all activities related to the maintenance of Camillus House’s North Miami-Dade facilities.
Maintains and repairs all buildings. Aids in all areas to improve physical work environment throughout Camillus House facilities. Supervises North Miami-Dade maintenance staff and reports any issues to the Director of Facilities.
Salary
$49,920.00/annual
Specialties
Education: High School diploma or GED; any appropriate combination of education, experience, and/or certification may be considered.
Experience: Minimum of five (5) years diversified experience in facilities maintenance.
Language: Proficiency in oral/written English. Bilingual (i.e., Spanish) preferred; additional languages a plus (i.e., Creole).
Skills: Proficiency in computer (Word, Excel, other data collecting programs). Considerable knowledge of trade tools and of occupational hazards, safety precautions, local codes, and regulations
Requirements
Successful completion of Toxicology test, L2 and local background screening.
Valid FL Driver License with clean driving record.
Legally authorized to work in the United States.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Be comfortable working directly with highly vulnerable populations on an outpatient basis as part of a multidisciplinary street outreach program.
- Have competency in MS Office/Outlook and other data entry programs.
- Be able to successfully complete Level II background screening and toxicology test, have a Valid FL Driver License with clean driving record, and be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis.
- Oversees and supervises team of maintenance technicians.
- Executes equipment audits and record-taking policies.
- Coordinates with the Director of Facilities on the implementation of new building projects.
- Ensures compliance with all safety and security protocols and directly reports any items to Director of Facilities.
- Conducts troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance services of motors and pumps, electrical equipment, electrical building installations, appliances, and office equipment.
- Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs and performs scheduled maintenance repairs.
- Reads and assign work orders to perform required maintenance services and maintains work order log.
- Provides on and off-hour emergency responses, including repairing equipment, stabilizing damages, and requesting support personnel as needed.
- Works closely with and maintains good working relations with employees in all areas, as well as with contractors, vendors, and clients.
- Performs regular inspections of facilities and maintains an inspection log.
- Maintains the care and use of equipment, supplies, etc. and the appearance of facilities and keeps working areas safe and organized.
- Attends and participates in staff meetings as required.
- Purchases supplies and keeps records of all financial transactions.
- Keeps accurate mileage logs.
- Coordinates Client workforce with ISPA.
- Consults with Procurement officer to coordinate services.
- Maintains inventory of all materials, tools, and equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.
